Seward
- Ships in July, August and September
Seward is the equivalent of wearing your finest Chesterfield coat with the fur collar. Our photo accurately sets forth its bouncy, billowing ruffles. Revel in the graceful blue standards and agreeably edged purple falls. Here we have perfectly classical flower form. Adding another dimension, along with the meandering border on the falls, are the unmistakable lavender undersides. Nicely complementing this lush bitone are healthy orange beards. Large flowers and a pleasant fragrance add to the resplendent display of this very late bloomer. Seward is suggestive of cool mountain water, aptly named after the city in Southeast Alaska, known for some of the world’s best fishing. Proud parents are Fame and Glory and Louisa’s Song.
